Macneil - 3 Days In The UK

In early December Taylor Elvy, Dillon Lloyd and Greg Flag took a flight from Canada to hit up the Vans Rebel Jam in Holland.
Following little sleep and even less practice, Dillon finished 7th in street.
After a fairly docile couple of days living it up in Holland the guys headed to the UK for three days, en route to their final destination, Barcelona, where they would spend the next fortnight filming with 'The Northern Embassy'.

The crew spent three days in between their travels alongside filmer and UK rider Mike King hitting a few local spots and skateparks in and around Brighton, including the Seventies warehouse and even caught a few hours in London, as well as spending some time with the other UK guys Ben Green, Vinny Mayne and Billy Cooper doing some sightseeing and experiencing a touch of the Brighton nightlife!

UGP was created in Mr. B’s garage, and since then he has worked full-time with Ronnie. He was such an important role in creating all the brands and Sparkys Distribution. VANS Let it Ride 2011 - Teaser from Vans Europe on Vimeo.

Two crews of 8 people each flew into Tenerife to meet up and get their missions. The next morning one crew would get on a ferry to the neighbor island, Gran Canaria.
So for the first 5 days both teams had an island each to explore, before swapping islands, cars, house keys and spots half way thru the trip.

The mission was easy - find great spots and have a good time riding a bike. Both teams came back safe and now they share their 10 days with you.

With the UK MacNeil Bikes team being announced in October, we wasted as little time as possible in filming for our first edit.
In early November the new team consisting of Vinny Mayne, Billy Cooper, Ben Green (TM) and myself (Mike King) set off for a week in Madrid, Spain's capital in search of some good weather, good spots, good content and ultimately good times.

The full video alongside an article, with photos by Sam King will be dropping December 16th.

To coincide with the Texas Toast Jam, Sparky’s Distribution decided to do a road trip that included riders from The Shadow Conspiracy, Subrosa Brand, and Sputnic BMX coming to Texas to ride, film, and have a good time. Seth Kimbrough, Rickey Bates, Ben Hucke, Kyle Hart, Hoang Tran, Greg Smee, and Ryan Sher covered the riding side while Tristan Afre shot the photos and I filmed the clips. Federal Bikes - New "Drop" Forks

The new Drop fork is based around the classic offset and length of the 20/20 fork, it also retains the same material and heat treatment spec however shape of the dropout and the bottom of the fork leg have both been redesigned to create a stronger and cleaner looking junction with better clearance.

Following on from this aspect is the new top cap which is included with the Drop fork.

The new top cap was designed with a less is more aesthetic approach featuring a smooth clean top with a black on black subtle logo and an 8mm to 6mm allen key hole, it is also more durable than the previous top cap

Just last week i got a message on Facebook from a bike shop (Urban Air) next to my home town sayin’ "i should go in for a brew one weekend when i don’t have owt on" and as its winter and as the weather is appalling i took a visit down there, i always forget how friendly BMX can be, i was greeted by Rich with brew in hand, Rich pretty much owns and runs the shop by himself, hes a rad dude!! I looked around Urban Air to see a ton of bmx race products i then find myself riding up and down the rainy streets on rich’s race bike! I was stoked on seeing a picture on the wall of his kids holding up trophies they race too and have won the regional’s!! So if your ever in Ilkeston and need a tube for your bike or some history in BMX pop in for visit, he’ll help you out!
